Buyers Guide

 1 - OUR FIRST MEETING

A great way to begin your home-buying journey is to have a clear vision of your goals, needs, and financial capacity. Whether you’re sick of paying rent, looking to settle down, or just want more control of yourliving space - homeownership is a great long-term investment. Not to mention, it comes with enticing tax benefits. Choosing the right home begins with you, butI will be your champion through the trepidatious process.

 2 - Financial PREPARATION

Build your ‘Green File,” which should contain all of the important documents that you’ll need in order to secure financing for your home. It’s important to know your credit score and avoid hard credit checks during the home-buying process. These measures help to ensure that you present your best financial-foot forward, maximizing your loan opportunity.

3 - Determining Where to Live

Time to consider where you want to live. What are you looking for in a neighborhood? What style and vibe best suit your personality? The neighborhood you live in is a representation of your personal values and can contribute to the essence of your home. I have extensive, both personal and professiona l, experience with a plethora of neighborhoods along the Golden Coast. This means I can give you the best possible recommendations on the perfect community for you and yours.

 4 - reviewing disclosures

You definitely want to know what you’re getting yourself into. Make sure you take the time to review all disclosures provided by the seller. Knowing if there are any challenges with the property ahead of time will allow you to make an offer with a clear valuation of the house you wish to purchase.

 5 - Making an Offer

Establishing a rapport with other agents has ensured that they look forward to working with me. After reviewing the most recent local home sales, we’ll collaborate on enticing offer strategies. Presenting a strong offer in this intimidating market may seem like a daunting task; but I’m here to act as your guide through this process, ensuring you are ready to present the strongest offer on your dream home.

 6 - Title Company & Escrow Holder

Now comes the waiting game. When you open an escrow account you put down any deposits, or fees necessary to purchase the home. This shows that you are serious and have the funds to proceed with the transaction. These funds will stay in this account until all documents and negations have been settled, and the transaction comes to a close. I’ll be there to simplify and guide you through this lengthy and confusing process.

7 - FINDING THE PERFECT HOME

For every home you tour, make sure to also pay attention to the neighborhood. Imagine yourself walking around the neighborhood and getting a sense of what it would be like to live there every day. Ensuring you are in close proximity to whatever is important for you to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

 8 - Closing-Almost There!
